ROCK ON!

Aurora Films has broken ground on the construction of a custom-built, full-service production facility in the Rock Lititz Community. Aurora Films, founded in 2001, currently provides on-location and in-studio production services, animation, and CGI expertise to local, national, and international brands. It will be adding still photography, set design, and construction capabilities to better serve its clients.

“We have always provided our clients with the highest quality of script-to-screen content, but are excited to be expanding our capabilities, as we see a growing need for video, photography, and CGI. This is an incredible opportunity for Aurora Films to use its institutional knowledge and vision to better serve those we work with,” said Bob Black, General Manager at Aurora Films.

“The Rock Lititz Community ensures that our clients have access to top production-based vendors and resources. We look forward to becoming a part of the growing collaboration, innovation, and creative partnerships that are already taking place in the Community,” Black continued.

The Rock Lititz Community is a short drive from New York, Baltimore, Washington, D.C., and Philadelphia, making it the ideal location for production. The Campus has also grown to include a hotel, several multi-tenant facilities, walking trails, community space, and more.

Between this production space and its downtown Lancaster location, the company has 10 core employees and partners, supplemented by freelancers. Capabilities include, but are not limited to, commercial video, corporate video, training videos, and independent films.

During the building process and transition, Aurora Films is operating out of Studio A.
